“Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25).
Someone said, “Going alone makes you go faster but going together makes you go farther”.
As Christians, we need to move with the people of God, we must not be isolated. When there is wind and you are going alone, you can easily be blown away but when you are many and hold onto each other, you will stand firm. That’s the same with Christians, this life is too complicated to walk alone. Fellowship with Christians, people with the same mind, same goal, and same direction.
When you are about to fall, they will help you up, you get better and truthful advice from them. 1 Corinthians 14:26 “What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, and has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification”. Contribute also to anything that might be needed in the fellowship, it may be an encouragement that someone needs, it might be financial assistance or any other, just do your best. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing”.
Fellowship with Christians Prayer for Today
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the great honor and wonderful privilege you have given me to fellowship with you. My times of personal relationship with you are heartfelt and very reproductive. Through the Holy Spirit, I’m guided to know your perfect will, and I’m led in the way I should go. In this manner, I want to fellowship with your children. I want to partner with my fellow Christian brothers and sisters. I want the love to be shared. And I want to feel the spirit of fellowship. Help me Lord to achieve these. We shall discover purpose, build up ourselves, and help ourselves with love. Amen.
