Daily prayer light of the world

Light of the World – Prayer for January 3. We are joint-heirs with Christ, he is the light of the world. Therefore, as a Christian, we must be glowing and showing the glory of God. Let’s tell God to shine his light on us.

Bible Verse for Today

“Arise, shine, for your light, has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1)

The world is filled with darkness in the beginning and God said: “Let there be light.” God is the Almighty, He knew to start any work there must light, so created the light first. That is to show how light is important. We that are in Christ are not meant to be in the darkness that is why God is telling us to rise and shine. We have been called from the darkness of the world into the light of the Lord (1 Peter 2:9).

What do you think light is? Light is an illumination when it appears darkness will surely disappear. When you become light, in any challenging situation you step into, you are representing Jesus, therefore, the solution must come. When you go out today, go forth and shine your light, let the world see the light in you. Not to see it in you alone but to see it shining all around you. Be the light that will swallow their darkness, the solution to their problems.

Wake up from slumber, don’t be satisfied with darkness tell God today to shine His light on you so that people will see his glory in you.

Light of the World Prayer for Today

Lord, I arise to the light of today. I want to shine forth and let your glory radiate over me that people will see you working mightily in me. If I have been sleeping before that’s causing me not to shine and do great things, I receive the power to rise and shine now.

I know that this world is full of darkness and the deeds of man are evil. You said we are the light of the world, Lord, make my light shine and let darkness disappear. Every darkness in my job, career, education, business, and family, let your light shine from me and the darkness disappear. Your glory shall rise upon me and all my doings today. Amen.
