Live in Spirit. Prayer for January 29. We must not be carnal, we should walk in spirit always. And that’s how we can be saved from falling into the things of the flesh. Let’s tell God to help us live in spirit and walk in spirit.
Bible Verse for Today
“Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives” (Galatians 5:25).
When we are not living in the spirit, we are prone to the works of the flesh such as adultery, fornication, hate, envy, pride, and we can fall into temptations. It is very dangerous for Christians not to walk in spirit of God. There is power in the spirit of God when we then live in it and walk in spirit, we carry the power that we can use against the works of the flesh and the overcome temptations.
The spirit of God is the spirit of greatness, the spirit of success, the spirit of excellence, it has the great benefit that we can enjoy when we live in it. It’s not enough to live with the spirit of God but to live in it. It’s like a shield that cocoons us from whatever problem and danger all around.
If you know your God, you live in Him and His spirit will dwell in you and you in Him. Daniel 11:32b “but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits”.
Always live in the spirit and walk in spirit of God and you will be safe all through the day and you shall do great exploit.
Walk in Spirit Prayer for Today
Lord, I thank you for today, I thank you for the spirit that works for me, and it is your spirit Lord. Your spirit is a shield that covers those that live in it. Lord, today I live in your spirit, I run into it to be saved. I want to walk by the spirit also, because doing that will help me to do away with the things of the flesh, and that leads to sin in a life. Lord help me to walk by the spirit always and not by the flesh. Amen.
