Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (full text at 1 Corinthians 6:7-11)

God’s Word Was, Is, and Will Be relevant

This a response to those who question the relevance of God’s Word in the modern world.

It is not God’s teaching that has departed from humanity, but humanity that has left God’s teaching.

God is unchanging

Genesis clearly describes man’s situation – a man wanted to be like God and to take God’s place. This is still man’s great sin.

One of God’s essential attributes is that God defines what is good and what is evil. God is objective truth. God is the decisive criterion.

But man is under the illusion that he can do anything. Therefore, man thinks there is no God, and man is God himself. But this is the essence of Adam’s sin.

Do not be Deceived

In reality, it is not man’s concept of good and evil that is valid. Only God’s concept of good and evil is valid. Because God is the Creator, and everything works according to His principles.

Therefore, the Apostle Paul warns with all responsibility: Do not be deceived!

Is it clear to everyone? Do you understand this principle?

It is a principle that man must understand and follow to be happy, succeed, and achieve high goals.

Prayer for Today

I ask you, God, Creator and Ruler of the world, especially for light for my mind. The sin of pride leads to spiritual blindness. The ideologies of this world are blinding. Satan’s spells are blinding. Therefore, I ask you, Lord, with all my heart, to open my mind’s eyes. Let me see what reality is. Please show me how to return to the proper path. Teach me how to live according to Your Word. This is my main request today. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
