Devotional for Today February 3

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? (1 Corinthians 6:9 ESV)

God is the foundation of Truth

The Bible defines truth as reliable and unchanging. This is because the truth is directly related to the character of a trustworthy and unchanging God. You can have complete confidence in what He says. He never lies. He will keep His promises.

Therefore, let us be clear about man’s tendency to make mistakes. To justify their sinful lifestyles, people have come up with the theory that if you live wrongly, you will still get into Paradise. Therefore, many Christians think to themselves that they can relax and go on living in sin. They abuse God’s mercy.

Attention! That is far from the truth.

Want to live in Truth?

Do you want to live in the truth? Then recognize what God’s Word says without compromise: The unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9)

If you don’t leave your life of sin, you will go to Hell. And it is your responsibility what you do with your life.

That is the unpleasant truth. But believe me – it’s better to hear the unpleasant truth than to live in a lie. Our whole future depends on it.

Prayer for Today

Our Heavenly Father, You are the only Living God. You are the eternal Creator and Ruler of the world. Be glorified.

Today I turn to You for an important matter. Give me the wisdom to know the truth about You, to know the truth about the World and its working principles. Please give me the humility to accept the truth as it is and not as my ears want to hear it. Lord, Give me love to live Your truth. May Your Truth guide my life so that I may not be led astray by human folly.

With all my heart, I want to be with You. I want to follow You. I want to reach eternal joy. So please do not abandon me, Heavenly Father. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
