God cares for you – Prayer for October 24. Praise the Lord, everybody! God has always been concerned about His creation, whom He made in His own image and gave dominion over all his other creations. Our comfort has always been “job one” with Him. He passed for first man a woman when He saw we needed the companionship of a helpmate. When we fell from Grace, He made way for us to get right with Him.
Bible Verse for Today
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14)
God has numbered the very hairs on our heads! How great is that? Yet we hear nonbelievers and even believers say to other believers, “Who do you think you are?” or “What makes you think God has time to deal with your daily issues? God doesn’t care whether you get to work on time or not.” It is sad because those who feel that way don’t know the God of the Bible.
For example, God cared about giving us the best anatomical systems. This is God’s gift to us. Humanity has been trying to imitate God for centuries. But no matter how hard we try, man is nowhere near God’s level.
We must truly humble ourselves under God’s hand and realize that we can’t do anything without His help and that we can take all our worries and problems to God because He cares about us. And that is wonderful.
Yes, God does care if we get to work on time if that’s important to us. Yes, God does care if we do well in school if that’s important to us. And yes, He does care about whatever is important to us, even those things we did not know were important to us.
Remember that next time someone tells you, God has more important things to do than worry about what concerns you in your day-to-day life. Always remember that God cares for you. God bless you All.
God Cares for You Prayer for Today
Father God, we thank you that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” in your image. We thank you that you hear us and are concerned about us when we cry out to you. Lord, help us to be more concerned about pleasing and serving you. God, teach us to remember that You care about us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
