God Works for the Good of those who Love him. Prayer for March 14. The real killer of future dreams and what anchors poverty is nothing but laziness. We want to ask God to overcome laziness today and ask him to give us the power to work for God. Love God and work for Him, as love and faith without work are dead.
Bible Verse for Today
“Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people.” (Proverbs 22:29)
As a Christian, we must not be lazy and sluggish in whatever we do today (Proverbs 10:4). We can’t say because God said he will supply all our needs doesn’t mean we should not work. In fact, the Bible says faith without work is dead. If anyone does not work, he is prone to poverty Proverbs 19:15 “Laziness casts into a deep sleep, and an idle man will suffer hunger.” We must work diligently because in the end we will stand among kings and not ordinary men.
Sometimes, the body will be weak while the spirit is willing, but at the same time we must learn how to control the body. We must be smart with our work if we want to overcome poverty and want. Let’s not think of what we will face outside but rather think of the gain we will get when we work. We shouldn’t be like the lazy man that says there is lion in the street. (Proverbs 22:13)
Therefore, we must learn to put our body into subjection and do what is needed to be done. (1 Thessalonians 4:4. 1 Corinthians 9:27).
God Works for the Good of those who Love Him Prayer
Lord, I thank you for my life in your hands. I’m trusting you for blessings because I know you can never disappoint me. My love for you is never enough to thank you for your works for me. Lord, I know that God works for the good of those who love him.
I thank you for your love, and I thank you because you have forgiven my sins. For these, I’m grateful Lord.
I don’t want to be lazy Lord because I don’t want to be poor. I need much encouragement from you to work more and to do it diligently because I want to stand with kings. Help me to deal with laziness today so I will be able to do what is required of me and what I have in plan to do. Amen.
