Seed of God in you – Prayer for January 16. Just like we plant seeds for them to grow and become a tree to bring forth fruits, God has also planted in us his seed that we must nurture and make it grow.
Bible Verse for Today
“Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.” (1 Peter 1:23)
When you got born again, you were born of the word of God, the seed of God. The word is then your life. Little wonder the word tells us in Matthew 4:4 that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
The seed of the word produced in us is the same source and power that sustain us. That seed, the word, has formed our life and runs in us. You are now full of seed to be fruitful. And you have what it takes to live God in character and potency.
You have all it takes to reach your God-given destiny. And you are more than a conqueror in all things. God is your Father and His DNA is in you. Indeed, you are God’s child with his very life in you. Don’t fail. You are a success by birthright and oneness with God.
It is the seed of God that is in you that made you the child of God, it also places you to the place where you can be great. You are of God and you have victory over all things of the world. The Bible says that “greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.” You are great already because you carry greatness.
Now that the seed of God is in you, don’t let it waste or die. You have to keep using this seed and make it become fruitful in you. That is the importance of the seed of God in you, it is for you to become fruitful and never be beaten down by the situation of life. Jesus is there for you today to help you nurture the seed and grow in him.
Seed of God in You Prayer for Today
I believe that the seed of God is in me, I am born to be fruitful, I carry the DNA of God in me, and I have the gene of God. Nothing can ever pull me down, I refuse to be a failure. Today, through Christ, the seed of God in me, I can do all things. I will surely be above only and never come low. Amen.
